What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kayo Stadium is praised as an awesome suburban venue with a great atmosphere, particularly for Redcliffe Dolphins games and junior league. Visitors appreciate the integration with the Dolphins Club and nearby shopping centre. However, some find the seating cramped, the TV screens small, and undercover seating limited. Parking and public transport can also be challenging on game days.
"The stadium is good but it is impossible to see anything on the very small tv’s. With the amount of money spent on it you should be at least able to see the score and how much longer the game goes."
Karen Dow
"Awesome suburban stadium and home the Redcliffe Dolphins. Seen both the dolphins and Brisbane Roar play here as a home ground and has a great atmosphere for either code. The Dolphins Club is attached to the stadium and is a great place for a pre or post match meal or drink. Also has the Dolphins Central Shopping Centre adjacent to the stadium so you can support your local club by supporting local businesses. Parking can be a bit iffy on game day and public transport isn’t great."
Aek Fisher
"We had a great first visit to Kayo Stadium to watch a Qld Cup game. I love the layout but wish there was more undercover seating from the rain, especially handicapped/wheelchair seating which was all out in the open."

In-depth insights and expert knowledge
The Redcliffe Dolphins Experience
Beyond the game itself, the stadium is integrated with the Dolphins Club and Dolphins Central Shopping Centre, making it a hub for community activity. This means you can easily combine your game day experience with a meal or drinks at the club, or even do some local shopping. It's a true community asset that brings people together for sport and entertainment.
When planning your visit, remember that game days can be busy. Securing parking early is crucial, and being prepared for potentially long queues for food and drinks will enhance your overall enjoyment.
Navigating Game Day Logistics
Inside the stadium, while the views are generally good, some patrons find the seating a bit cramped. It's also worth noting that not all seating areas are covered, so checking the weather forecast and choosing a sheltered spot is advisable, particularly if rain is expected. The stadium's smaller TV screens have also been mentioned as a drawback, making it difficult to keep track of the score and time remaining.
To make the most of your visit, consider arriving early to enjoy the atmosphere and perhaps grab a bite at the Dolphins Club. Be prepared for potential queues at food and drink outlets, especially during peak times. Planning ahead for these logistical aspects will ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience at Kayo Stadium. :car: :umbrella: :knifeforkplate:
