For those seeking a bit of adventure, there's also a trail to explore, which I found to be quite manageable. However, I must admit, the video I captured while running the trail was a bit bumpy, so viewers should watch at their own discretion – it's a humorous reminder of the journey!

"I have been to Port Fairy many times and didn't know Battery Hill was even there, but I was surprised to find it in such good condition. The cannons are in very good condition even though they are situated near the coast. Excellent views of the coastline are a feature once you have climbed the stairs to the flagpole near the cannons."
