What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Haigh's Chocolates Visitor Centre for its friendly and passionate staff, informative tours, and, of course, delicious high-quality chocolates. The free entry and convenient location are also major pluses. Some find the 'self-guided' viewing aspect less engaging than expected and wish samples were offered earlier to encourage purchases.
"Visited Haigh’s Chocolate Factory on Greenhill Road, Adelaide, and absolutely loved the experience! The guided tour was about 30 minutes – informative, well-paced, and gave a great insight into how their chocolates are made. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The best part, of course, was sampling their delicious chocolates at the end – so rich and high quality. A must-visit spot in Adelaide for chocolate lovers!"

"We came for a look, as we were trying to fill some time before flying home, and it was recommended to come here. The factory tour was okay. I was expecting more from the tour, but they are framing it as a 'self guided tour.' There were a few samples to try in the store as you were paying, which should have been offered earlier as an incentive to buy them prior to getting to the registers and having to halt the line whilst you went and got the product from the shelves. Also, we had never eaten Haigh's before, so we were unsure if we even liked it so we were unsure whether to buy any.
For what it is, we found it very overpriced. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate, whereas I preferred Melba's. I wouldn't return unless buying a special treat for my husband."

"Very informative tour with lots of yummy samples.
My only suggestion for improvement would be a nicer seating area for the talk at the beginning."
