"Clean, safe, kangaroos always around, river/creek is ok and I do see people swim there but the water is a bit sandy? Nice track to walk for 2hours and have a picnic . Clean toilet at the entry only."

Ash Y

"Just to get out and enjoy the fresh air is great for anyone. They have many walking tracks available along the Yarra River. Be aware with very young children as it can get slippery in sections, especially after rain. The River height and flow can rise very quickly after heavy rains. Safety is your number one priority. Having said that there is a great deal of bird life around and other fauna such as Wombats and kangaroos in the area which is wonderful. In the spring you can veiw some beautiful native flora in bloom. Public toilets, tables and chairs and a map of the area and surrounds is available. The carpark isn't very big so l suggest travelling in one car with friends or family will make it easier for you. Go have a look and see what is on offer. You never know the young ones might just be fortunate to see a Wombats and Kookaburras."
