It's a highly recommended spot for dog walks and family outings with accessible trails and playgrounds. Some minor issues like limited water fountains and wear and tear in certain facilities are noted.

"Really enjoyable on-leash walk with my dog. However I am only aware of one water fountain which was located in the car parking area"

Jennie Macdonald

"This is a great place to walk. Hike around North Lake and associated wetlands. In spring the Arum Lilies and other wildflowers are stunning. The winter of 2022/23 was wet, so the lake and wetlands have plenty of water.
The main path runs around North Lake - but there is a network of small paths to explore."

Peter Bishop

"Besides the random ball of human hair i pulled out of the blanket and the dodgy door lock, its pretty comfortable and somewhat clean. Lots of wear and tear and budget for what you pay for. Staff are friendly and accommodation is convenient. You have complimentary tea and coffee, a little fridge and kettle. The gardens are absolutely stunning and vibrant and the pool refreshing."
