"In all the time I've lived here in Mildura I have never gotten the chance to stop and take a look. I'm glad I did, you can see for miles out over the Murray into NSW, an interesting sight from the platform. Also nice to see some articles of history placed there with some light reading into their history. A picnic table, a memorial for people that have made their mark in the district. At the end of the walk another platform recently constructed with stairs down to the common, with I'm sure another picnic area, but don't quote me on that, because I haven't been down there yet."
