What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Little Manly Beach is praised for its calm, netted swimming area and family-friendly atmosphere, offering beautiful harbour views. While parking can be tight on weekends and the kiosk is noted as pricey, visitors appreciate its peacefulness compared to busier beaches and the scenic picnic spots.
"I followed Google Maps from North Narrabeen, where I was staying at this time down to Little Manly Beach via Pittwater Rd. Saturday morning was hectic but the traffic was moving. I walked around LMB taking in the beautiful scenery from this location. With views over to Sydney and a lot of photo opportunities. The parking is adequate and no charge to park. Families were enjoying the playground above LMB.
The location is marbled with meandering paths and appears to be suitable for wheelchair ♿️ access.
I would suggest having a companion with you for assistance on slightly steeper paths.
I was however disappointed with the Beach Cafe with its expensive food items, as was the lady in front of me, at this point, I took my option and departed the queue. Other patrons appeared to be alright with it.
The beach is lovely and well-protected. I was impressed with the "Penguin Sign" painted on the pathway. Who would have expected the Penguins at this location?
It wasn't as busy as I expected for such a beautiful spot.
Enjoy your day and take a picnic lunch with you."

"There is a concrete boat ramp on the eastern end of the beach, one of the few concrete ramps on the northern shore of Port Jackson. Behind the beach are public toilets and a kiosk. The beach is a popular place for families because of the presence of the baths and a grassed picnic area, as well as a children's playground."
