"Pristine elevated coastal clifftop trail along the Indian Ocean.

Located within Kalbarri National Park. Park fees required to enter with vehicle.

Lookout platforms along the trail. Trail is clearly marked with trail markers. Trail followers the cliff-edge.

Wildflowers in spring. Extreme heat and flies in summer.

Trail is predominantly uneven rocks. Need healthy ankles.

Sight whales during migration season. Kangaroos and other smaller wildlife along the trail.

Modern national park standard toilets, sealed roads and carparks.

Very quiet and little-used trail."

Jamie

"I did not do the full Bigurda Trail, button instead did a 7.5 km loop from the southern end where natures Bridge is, all the way to grandstand and then back.

I think this portion of the Bigurda Trail is the better part although the lookout at the southern end do get very busy around nature's bridge and island rock.

Highlights of this trail include the freedom of walking along the cliff top, dolphins, whales migrating up the coast, birdlife, the Lookout points and just general natural beauty along the Kalbarri coast.

The Browne Town."

Stephen Browne

"Loved this trail!! The cliffs are beautiful to look at it. The path requires some negotiation due to the rocks, but the scenery is worth it to be seen."
