Reviews Summary

Victoria Park / Barrambin is widely praised as a beautiful and versatile city park, perfect for picnics, running, and family outings. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, abundant green space, and frequent free community events. While generally loved, some note the presence of snakes and large rats, and occasional average food quality at associated venues.

"Incredible Brisbane city Parkland that is a real beautiful place for a picnic, walk or BBQ with friends.

Awesome free family events provided and hosted by the council. These events occur on a frequent basis.

Terrific trees and plants attentively cared for by the arborists and park operations team. Fun to see golf parts nipping about this ex golf course.

A real asset to Brisbane that hopefully continues to evolve as a tree sanctuary and bird lovers hotspot.

There are some snakes about, so keep your eyes peeled for Danger Noodles as they surprised me on a number of occasions. Certainly a few extremely large rats about Kelvin Grove, walking paths and rail track.

Hope the place stays slowly evolving into a green and welcoming parkland.

Amazing tracks to loop for those wanting to improve their #running. Hill running is incomparable training for those wanting to up their speed and endurance. Yet go hit it within your limits as the gradients are unforgiving and certainly No Walk in the (Victoria) Parkland.

One of my absolute favourite places in Brisbane and cared for in line with the splendid Mount Coot-Tha approx 15-20m away by car."

Bertus Moers

"Amazing park. Wheelchair friendly paths. Well maintained area. With lots of different types of Wildlife around to see and hear. It's great if you are a bird watcher. The tracks are easy but there are some hilly bits. There are bbq and picnic areas as well and they are well maintained. There is also more of the park across the road but there is a bridge you can cross. There are lots of green areas to play in and lots of seats along the path as well. Highly recommend going to have a look and maybe a bbq or a picnic. The weekdays are not so busy but I'm not sure about the weekends."

Ruth Mavroleon

"Went to the ballroom for a wedding dinner. Beautiful place but the food is pretty average. Steaks on most tables came out as well done even though advertised as medium rare."
