"Plenty of free parking and a nice walk to Snapper Rocks only about 1km away. Paved trail for a pram available. Beach itself was pristine and lots of sand and shallow water for relaxing play with a child"

"The kids had the time of their lives at Greenmount Beach on Sunday. 🏖️🏄♀️
One of the great things about this beach is that you can start walking around the hill towards Rainbow Bay but then go down the stairs when you're closer to the water. That way you don't have to walk across the soft sand in the hot sun quite so far.
You probably don't want to walk back up the stairs when you leave but once you get off the sand there are showers and a place to buy drinks and icecreams. Of course, if you want to walk a little further, there are plenty of ice-cream shops and restaurants.
There is also the Greenmount Surfclub with its bar and restaurant right there and, of course, the Surf Lifeguards are right there on the beach watching over the kids. 🙌🛟"
