What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Gostwyck Chapel a picturesque and historically significant site, particularly stunning in autumn with its vibrant foliage. While the beauty is undeniable, the lack of facilities and the need to respect private property are key considerations for visitors. The scenic drive adds to the overall charm of the experience.
"is a very nice area! I went during mother’s day and it wasn’t insanely crowded, Peak season would have been about 2 weeks from when i went but was still very pretty only downside is that when i went there were people in all my photos which was expected in long shots but had to edit which wasn’t very hard. Is pretty and recommend visiting!"

"Please note. The chapel and surrounds are on private property. Please do not walk down the main driveway from the chapel. I have been visiting the site since the late 80s. It is a nice spot all year round but is spectacular in early May. Tends to be busy on weekends so best to plan a weekday visit. Be careful parking after rain as the grounds can be soft. Please do not drive down the access road beside the chapel."

"What an amazing church and so much history. The drive out was interesting as it was foggy but safe. The drive through the trees to the church was beautiful. We walked over the old bridge and the scenery was beautiful."
