What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Goolwa Wharf Precinct's charming atmosphere, picturesque river views, and vibrant community feel. It's a highly recommended spot for leisurely strolls, enjoying local food and wine, and experiencing the unique maritime heritage of the region. Some minor concerns were noted regarding the cleanliness of unisex public toilets during busy periods.
"This wharf is one of the major highlights in the southern Fleurieu region.
It's an absolute joy spending time wandering around the area, visiting the various sights on offer, such as the art gallery, distillery, the train station and cafe. Or explore the Oscar W, drop a line, have a picnic or watch the children play in the nearby playground. All with the iconic Hindmarsh Island Bridge in the background.
There are also markets on the nearby lawn every Sunday morning. Car parking and public toilets are also available. Its a shame that all the toilets are unisex and when I was there, they weren't clean, which is probably not surprising considering how many people were using them."

"Lovely spot. New coffee shop right on the wharf. Great views!!! And the Cockle Train zipping along makes for a very unique spot!!!!
