Everything clean and tidy
My kids and husband loved the air walk and the swinging bridge walk.
I chickened out at the first 10 meters of the airwalk but appreciated it from below.
My interest is Fungus, so took lots of pictures.
Picturesque and well worth the entry."

"Delightful experience of going through the natural vegetation and a good learning about bush fire which affected the trees in 2019. It is a 1.5 to 2 hour tour depending on the speed and time taken out for taking photos. The airwalk has a breathtaking view at the end of the bridge and the swinging bridges are the most enjoyable and fun.
Suggestion: The last entry is before 3:30pm so you can buy a ticket and go for the tour, but the cafes close at 3:30pm.
When we were leaving, the staff were very rude to us when we by mistake entered the cafe and told us there is another exit whoch has to be used after the cafe closes.
Overall a pleasant place to visit."

The Tahune Airwalk Experience
Many visitors find the experience exhilarating, describing it as being 'close to the end of the world' or feeling like they are walking among the treetops. The structure is engineered to sway gently, adding to the sense of adventure, though this can be a challenge for those with a fear of heights. Despite any initial trepidation, the stunning vistas at the end of the walk are consistently praised.
Beyond the main Airwalk, the site offers additional forest trails. These paths lead to other attractions like the swinging bridges, which provide a more rustic and thrilling experience as they sway over the forest floor. These walks are generally well-signposted but can be muddy and slippery, so appropriate footwear is a must.
Navigating the Forest Trails
Two notable trail experiences are the swinging bridges. These suspension bridges offer a fun and slightly adrenaline-pumping way to cross gullies or streams within the forest. While exhilarating, they can be wobbly and are not for the faint of heart, as some visitors have noted. The paths leading to and from these bridges can be muddy and slippery, especially after rain, so wearing sturdy, waterproof hiking boots is highly recommended.
For those interested in the local ecology, the park also provides insights into the impact of events like bushfires. Learning about the resilience of the forest and its regeneration adds an educational layer to the visit. The well-maintained paths and clear signage ensure that visitors can navigate these trails safely and enjoyably.
Dog-Friendly Adventures
However, there are specific considerations for dogs. While they are welcome in the park, they may need to be carried across the Tahune Airwalk and the swinging bridges. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of both the dogs and other visitors, as well as to protect the integrity of the structures. Planning for this, perhaps with a suitable dog carrier, is advisable.
Overall, the dog-friendly policy makes Tahune Airwalk a more inclusive destination for travelers who don't want to leave their pets behind. It's a thoughtful touch that enhances the experience for many visitors.
