Reviews Summary
Fremantle Markets is a vibrant hub praised for its lively atmosphere, diverse stalls offering local produce, crafts, and unique souvenirs. Visitors love the culinary delights, from soufflé pancakes to artisanal foods, and the engaging street performers. While some find prices high and customer service inconsistent, the overall experience is considered a fantastic and worthwhile visit for its eclectic mix and historic charm.
"We visited the Fremantle Markets on Friday 29 August as one of the few to-dos while staying in Perth.
We were lucky that the weather was lovely and it set off for a good day.
The markets are very well organised and features many stores offering local goods and many food options. I liked the set up as we could do a full walk around and not get lost or feel like we missed seeing something.
The coffee we had at the entrance we took was wonderful. I think the name was Otis Espresso.
The highlight of the visit was meeting WA born and bred artist CS Illustrators. Her name is Catherine and she had a stand that show cases her artwork. I purchased a few items from her and sent some off as gifts.
We did not have lunch at the market as we had intended as nothing stood out to us.
I would recommend a visit and a walk around the markets for any tourist visiting Perth / Fremantle."

""Fremantle Markets is a treasure trove of local delights! The atmosphere is lively, and the stalls offer a wide range of unique souvenirs, crafts, and delicious food. Loved browsing the eclectic mix of shops and sampling local treats. Some stalls could improve their customer service, but overall, it's a fantastic experience. Highly recommend visiting this historic market!""

"Actually so lovely to see so much different produce which is local to area. Fremantle has a lovely little dock, and used to be a fishing town back in the day where Italian immigrants settled.
Lovely way to spend a beautiful sunny day with family and friends. If you appreciate smaller cities which are more laid back with good seafood, you will love Fremantle!"
