"Had a lovely time exploring the palmetum today, the second time we’ve been. Particularly appreciated that there are a lot of botanical name signs, which is something I always enjoy. Just a not that many are now so old they need a mould spray, or a wipe, as they aren’t entirely readable. Also a few now pointing to where a plant must have been and died, or on the wrong plant- hoping someone who works there might realise how important they area d how much the signs add to some people’s enjoyment and put it on the maintenance schedule. Also really enjoyed the arid zone plants, as we aren’t able to grow them outside at all, where I come from."
