What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Prince of Wales Bay Marina is overwhelmingly praised for its excellent facilities, friendly staff, and convenient location, making it a top choice for boaters and visitors alike. While situated in an industrial area, the positive aspects of the modern marina, great cafe, and brewery with a view significantly outweigh any minor drawbacks.
"I've based myself here on my live-aboard 40' yacht for nearly nine months now, and and very happy to consider it home. As a marina, it has everything, and I mean everything going for it. It's a couple of minute drive to all of the marine-focussed services in the area, it's close to hardware stores of all kinds, shopping and it's still only ten minutes to the city. The floating marina facilities themselves are modern and well-maintained, including water, electricity, diesel, petrol and pump-out facilities. The general feel is friendly and community-like, and the marina staff are just plain fantastic. Prince of Wales Bay Marina is just a brilliant place to be - either short or long-term. Bravo! A+++"

"I went there with my partner to a Coffee and Car meet. The little Cafe there has the nicest toasted sandwiches (a little pricey but that can be overlooked because they were delicious). We did takeaway, but indoor and outdoor seating available. The location is easy to get to off the Brooker highway, and ample parking. I don't understand much about cars but they were done up very well."

Marina is growing so exciting stages are happening ie a fuel dock and I think a restaurant/brewery ? Looking awesome anyway.
We have enjoyed our stay .We are close enough to goods and services yet away from it all so you get jobs done .
Situated in an industrial estate so that is a consideration for some for example dust and lots of vehicles .
Got to get in early at cafe to beat the Fluro Tops at break time …. So they don’t buy out the yummy food .
