Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Daintree Discovery Centre for its informative exhibits, accessible boardwalks, and the unique canopy tower experience. It's highlighted as a great educational outing for families, with the Jurassic Forest being a particular hit with children. However, some find the combined cost of the ferry and entry fees to be quite high.

"We stopped here on our way to Cape Tribulation. The walks through the forest were great, and the tower up in the canopy gives a great perspective. The interpretations were also fantastic, both signs and the speaker you listen to on your walk. There was also a child friendly version which our 9 year old thought was great. We enjoyed spotting fish and turtles in the creek.
Staff were very friendly."

Angela Markby

"Incredibly informative and very well done to educate and inform. Truly enjoyed wandering and learning about the rainforest and all the species as well as the importance of the environment and the various custodians looking to protect it for generations to come."

Andrew W

"A great place to visit. Went with a 2 year old and 7 year old. It was easy for the toddler to walk about and explore the elevated board walks without those heart stopping “they can fit through that gap” worries. Umbrellas to borrow as you go round plus lots of inside stops to check out if the rain gets too dramatic. Really recommend"
