"What an unusual place, in a good way. Huge mowed grass areas that go all the was down to the Clarrie Hall Dam. It's very peaceful, but it's in the middle of nowhere, it doesn't look like many people visit, I found it by accident. I would like to come back and get out on the water. It would be a lovely place to have a picnic."

"Carms Farm Reserve is a lovely spot for a family or friends’ outing. The barbecue area is spacious, easily accommodating 20+ people, making it great for gatherings. The nearby lake is a highlight, home to a variety of birds like pelicans, egrets, swamp hens, wagtails, swallows, and cormorants. A peaceful setting with plenty of nature to enjoy."

"What a beautiful peaceful and relaxing place. We came as a big group of about 40 of us and there was plenty of room. Plenty of places to pull your car up, set up a picnic or cheese platter or even bring your own little BBQ, and relax by the river and admire the views and take in the serenity. There are public toilets there also, ( we brought our own roll of toilet paper just in case, even though there was loo paper there, but you just never know ). There are under cover picnic tables in the shed which is handy too plus plenty of really lovely shady trees to set up under. There is no camping or caravaning at this facility unfortunately and they do close the gates at night. But honestly just to come here spend the day with the family for a picnic, let the kids run around, kick a ball, ( keep in mind there are no swings for kids to play on ). Its also a perfect spot for a couple on a romantic date too, bring a blanket to sit on, or camp chairs, bring a picnic basket and some wine and enjoy each other's company. We just loved it here, can't wait to go back"
