Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Anzac Square for its well-maintained gardens, reverent atmosphere, and significant war memorials, particularly the Eternal Flame. It's seen as a peaceful and important place for reflection in the heart of Brisbane's busy CBD. Some note a lack of recent conflict memorials, but overall, it's highly valued as a historical site and urban sanctuary.

"What a wonderful location! I have been to ANZAC Memorial Gardens across Australia and around the world, and this one is up there.

The Gardens are so well maintained, and there is a certain reverence around the Gardens. It is nice because it shows memorials for the different wars and conflicts Australia has been involved in. One curious thing is that I didn't see any mention of the conflicts Aussies have been involved in in the 21st century.

It is a well maintained and reflective location, and it was nice to see people showing it the respect it deserves. Thank you to everyone who maintains the high standard of ANZAC Square."

"The park is spacious with a lots of statues and memorials; however, I think the most important spot is the eternal flame.
Definitely a must see hidden gem in Brisbane CBD or you’ll regret it.
Aside from that, the scenery of the buildings and park from the higher level (north end) of the square is quite magnificent. There is a parking lot entrance on the south edge of the park on Adelaide Street."
