"A great Grade 3 walk that offers plenty of reward for a modest effort. Go early in the morning or late in the afternoon to catch the sunrise or sunset. The track is quite exposed in parts, so bring a hat and plenty of water. Be cautious of red-bellied snakes near pools of water, especially at certain times of the year. The walk offers stunning views over the Grose Valley, including the beautiful Bridal Veil Falls. There is a tourist information centre at the start with clean toilets and drinking water. We went in spring when the wildflowers were in full bloom, which made it even more special. The walk was still partially shut when we went (October 2025) due to bushfire repairs but we were informed that it’ll fully open within a few months."
