"Located at 26 Old Hume Highway, Berrima, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺
This is a beautiful old hotel. It’s the oldest continuously licensed hotel in Australia 🇦🇺. It was built in 1834 and licenced a year later. It’s very popular going by the crowd. There was lots of people. The building is built from local sandstone, rendered sand stock bricks and a shingle roof. It’s a beautiful building. The rooms are a maze and it seems like everywhere you turn there’s another hidden room with tables. The staff were welcoming and attentive to our group which included people in wheelchairs and other disabilities. Willing to help with any questions. The menu is your typical pub menu but looked quit appearing. I ordered one of the specials which was the Pumpkin Soup with sourdough and a side of garlic bread. The soup was delicious, really thick and full of flvour. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal also. Very reasonable prices at $20 for the soup. There’s tables outside to the side of the building if you wanted to sit outside. Would definitely recommend. Thumbs up!! 👍👍"
