"I was exhausted from riding the Murray to Mountains trail and Tanswell Hotel was exactly what I needed. It was warm, cosy and clean. I had a great night’s sleep. I spent most of my rest day in the Hotel because it was a nice place to be. It was also very quiet because their kitchen was closed. Such a great location that a closed kitchen did not matter."

The staff were really lovely and attentative.the young lady who took our reservation and looked after us in the dining room was great. I had veggie lasagne (really large serving, i couldnt finish it), and my husband had steak. We had apple crumble for desert which was made to order and was deliscious. After dinner we went to the community band session (jamswellls) which topped our night off . Really fun to watch some super talented locals doung their thing!"
