"Anglican Parish Christ Church Beechworth is truly an amazing church!
The Anglican Parish can be found on the corner of Ford St and Church St...
At the time we visited the church, we were greeted by a lovely lady who was busy, although she had no problems with us taking a look around the inside 🙏
This beautiful church was erected in two stages, starting with the foundation stone for the first stage in 1858!
The tower and chancel were added in 1864, built by Stevens and Balfour and of local granite.
The church is dominated by the square tower centrally located at the west end and is a must-see for yourself type of building simply magnificent."

"One of the most beautiful churches in the North East of Victoria. It has magnificent Stained Glass Windows an historic Pipe Organ and a peal of 5 Bells ! Father Thomas is a very welcoming Priest to people of all religions."

"I was only here while passing one weekday and wandered in while the boss checked out the honey across the road. That is, my interest was architectural. I had to double check that it was an Anglican Church as Christ was displayed upon a cross (which is so Catholic!). Adding to the Catholic feel was the invitation to light a candle."
