"This review is mainly for the home delivery section. Having lived in other cities the delivery service in Armidale is lacking. We are at home most of the day as we work from home and have seen just twice in the past week, the postie walk into the yard and then just walk back out of the yard and in a couple of minutes we get a message telling us that since we were "not home" to pick up the parcel at the post office. We are completely able bodied people and have no issue with picking up the parcel but it is an annoyance especially on a friday afternoon and what if we were not able bodied? We also have dogs and our dogs would bark if our door was knocked on and as the postie doesn't even knock we know the postie for some reason wants us to go pick up the parcel. It doesn't make sense. With AI taking most jobs away in the future do we really need to take the postal home delivery service away? As it seems even the postie doesn't like their job - which is sad.
Also for the in person service, generally it is good especially when served with a smile, but recently some are not smiling anymore. I do hope this post office can find some joy in their work as in all honesty we need to show common courtesy to one another as kindness is what this world needs most."

"I fell down the uneven potentially illegal stairs out the front, while I was trying to compose myself so many people said they'd seen people take a tumble there.I was crippled and stuck at home for months and told there was no way to complain and was then shuttled between post office and council and nobody knows anything.
I know I've seen people fall there and apparently neither council nor Australia post have ever had a report."
