Celebrated a special birthday and had the whole fam attend (toddler included).
Immersive experience, which my young one thoroughly enjoyed. We weren't sure if it was going to be too scary for the little one however it turned out to be an exciting experience for her. Can be a bit loud if your little one doesn't like the noise, with some rooms being a bit more dimly lit, however she enjoyed 90% of the experience.
The hour can go by really quickly, so if you're a keen gamer perhaps two sessions would be a better fix. Or you can go next door for some putt putt.
The only dampener for the night was the food. Small portions. Over- fried.... And mocktails didn't come in the glasses advertised. So the food really was a let down for the night. I was tempted to go speak to someone to check if the portions were correct... But there were barely any staff that I could flag down at the time. Overall, the hotel was definitely a fun experience but to rate the venue as a whole I would have to be fair to give 3 stars."

The host was very friendly, responsible and well organised. I think her name was Via (sorry if I got it wrong) — she was fantastic. Highly recommended!"

"Really enjoyed our visit to Hijinx Hotel! This was my second visit but the first time bringing my daughter. We had such a great time together. We played five rooms and although two of them didn’t register our scores, the concierge and corridor staff were fantastic! They quickly helped us replay those rooms so our scores were counted.
With just the two of us, we didn’t expect to make the leaderboard, but it’s all part of the fun having those scores to look back on. The check-in process was smooth and easy and we’ll definitely be back to try another set of rooms!"
