"It was the best decision I ever made. Enjoying the sunrise at the top on my birthday. If you want to avoid the heat, i recommend starting the hike early. I hiked on my own pace with breaks in between. It took me 20 minutes up and 20 minutes down. Trust me the effort is worth it, because the view is breathtaking."

"Steep hike right out of the parking area. About 587-610 steps (-120m). Railing only around the middle area.
4 Stars because it is short and limited in hiking options (you stay on the stairs for the most part).
Not recommended with dogs since the stairs are tight for people walking up and down at the same times in certain areas without railings.
Great for sunrise pics. Not sure about sunsets since it seemed to have a lot of cacti to the west.
Google maps is a bit confused near the parking area at the base of the steps, but workable by looking at the map."

"Great hike! My wife did it 6 months pregnant and crushed it. We went a little later in the day than we should have due to the heat. It's about 600 steps to the top. You can stop as much as you need to and enjoy the view. It only took about 20 minutes to get to the top and we took our time. We didn't see goats on this hike."
