What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Tres Trapi for its exceptional snorkeling, especially the incredible opportunity to swim with sea turtles. The clear waters and vibrant marine life are consistently praised, making it a highlight for many trips to Aruba. However, some note that it's more of a rocky entry point than a traditional sandy beach, and parking can be limited.
"My wife and I came here on a Sunday about mid day. We were lucky to find parking under a tree. There are a couple of trees in the parking area but you have to get here early to get a nice parking spot. There are no umbrellas areas on this beach. So bring enough water for hydration because the heat is strong. Definitely bring water shoes. You will be walking on rock. Bring your snorkeling gear because this is a nice spot for snorkeling. The water is refreshing and not cold. You have to swim out long distance to get into the deep end. I highly recommend this beach. My wife and I didn't want to leave. I hope this was helpful."

"The snorkeling here is one of the best on the island if not the best! The water is clear and the current was not too strong. We had fins and had no problems going against the current. There are plenty of fishes to see and the best part is we got to see and swim with a couple of sea turtles! It was definitely a treat to see the turtles and probably one of the highlights of our trip. We had read that the turtles hang out just on the outside of the buoy ropes directly out in front of the steps near the Tres Trapi parking lot. Arrive early so you can secure parking as space is limited. We actually parked in the Boca Catalina beach parking lot just to the north where there is a small beach area with some shade. We started our snorkeling from that area and saw plenty of fishes before making our way to the buoys where the turtles were near the bottom just on the other side of the ropes. If you wait a while they will eventually swim up for air and that’s where we captured our best videos. Tres Trapi is mostly just rocks and not really much of a beach at all but the snorkeling is what it’s all about! Highly recommended in Aruba!"
