What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parque 9 de Julio is a large, centrally located green space offering a pleasant escape with attractions like water bikes and gardens. While many appreciate its size and potential for recreation, some visitors note that upkeep could be better, with litter sometimes detracting from the experience. The park's historical significance and artistic elements are also highlighted.
"Nice and big park, very close to the center of the city. A popular spot for walks, picnics or to stop at one of the many restaurants and cafes inside the park. Unfortunately the upkeep could be a lot better and the place feels a bit dirty, with most of the meadows littered with garbage left by visitors. This is also exemplified by the monument to Juan Peron standing in front of a map of the park (which celebrates the Argentine Declaration of Independence of declared on July 9, 1816, by the Congress of Tucumán). It is of historical importance, but it is not a great monument to begin with, to be honest, and it is in dire need of upkeep and maintenance. What a pity!"

"Park is huge, but now well maintained."

"Not really impressive. The view was not impressive. However, at night we can see decent lightingds"
