What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Potrero de los Funes Circuit to be a peaceful and scenic area, particularly enjoyable for its lagoon and lakeside dining. While the former racetrack's transformation into a residential and commercial zone is noted, many appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and family-friendly activities like pedal boating. Some reviews mention concerns about cleanliness and the high cost of certain accommodations.
"I never imagined the abandonment it has, cars with people drinking alcohol, bags of garbage on the sides, guardrails with graffiti, graffitied walls, a neglect"
Roberto Andres Piantanida
"It's poorly marked on the maps, the exact location is at the Hospital, where everything is mixed, from containment fences and such, I think everything is abandoned (or so it seems). A shame, because walking the entire Av. Del circuito I could see and imagine the glory of a past that seems to have stopped being lucrative for someone, or so I imagine, where today the containment walls divide what would be a sidewalk. What a shame."
Diego Nadal
"It's no longer a racetrack. There's a shopping center around what used to be the track and many houses for rent. It's very peaceful, quite safe, and we had a great time. They're doing some new construction on the lagoon so you can enjoy it. The hotel is very expensive; I think they're overdoing it: 54,000 pesos for a double room in September. It's a shame, but it seems they're not interested in domestic tourism."
