"The church is beautiful. But the priest… left much to be desired.
⚠️⚠️ I had a profoundly negative experience when I went to the parish seeking spiritual guidance from the priest who celebrated Mass today (December 1, 2025, 5 p.m.).
I was going through a difficult personal time, and far from receiving a listening ear, support, or pastoral guidance, I received dismissive responses and a markedly distant demeanor. I am studying journalism with a focus on religion—I mentioned this—and the priest's reaction was not one of openness or interest, but rather of uncomfortable surprise, almost defensiveness. He seemed threatened, annoyed.
He suggested I look for “something more realistic” to “earn money,” a comment that is not only inappropriate in a pastoral context but also completely ignores the value of study, vocation, and service. He also told me to go to another church because “that one was too far away,” even though I explained to him that it was the closest parish to my home.
I asked about specific paths within the Church—for example, training to become a catechist—and his response was to minimize my concerns, my plans, and my spiritual search. Far from feeling supported, I felt judged.
He even proudly mentioned another priest who has photos with Karina Milei, as if that were some kind of spiritual endorsement.
To say that “you gain nothing from journalism” is a discouraging, reductionist message, and above all, unbecoming of someone called to accompany and discern, not to discourage.
I say this in all seriousness: the priest showed no empathy, no pastoral disposition, and not even the slightest sensitivity toward human reality. And these kinds of attitudes wound, alienate, and harm people who are seeking comfort and a safe space.
I will not forget this experience, and I will mention it wherever necessary, because such behavior—far removed from the Gospel and from charity—is what pushes people out of the Church, while leaving inside only those who can be easily manipulated. I, on the contrary, will accompany, embrace, and support everyone, as is fitting from a genuine faith.
⚠️⚠️ Be careful. People are not a commodity, sir. And whoever doesn't understand this is not exercising a ministry, but rather an empty authority."

"The remains of some of my family rest in the Shrine's crematorium.
I am very grateful for the warm attention of the secretary when I went to process it.
Eucharistic adoration is held on Thursdays.
Since I live in another town, I haven't been there for a while, and the church, which was no longer a shrine five years ago, has been completely renovated with new images. The altar, the ambo, and the entire building structure, altars, and stained-glass windows are in impeccable condition and have new images.
Don't miss Mass. If you live nearby, go inside, drown out the noise of the world for a while; pray and give thanks.
Before Mass, you can also pray the rosary as a community.
Don't be afraid or think, "Why would I say anything to a priest?" Confession gives you peace. You share the burden, and God always offers you forgiveness through the priest through sincere repentance. Don't miss the opportunity to partake of the Eucharist; it gives you peace.
I would like to give special thanks to Nestor, the custodian of the church in the afternoon, who found my rosary and gave it to the parish priest to retrieve."
