"Long way to get here, because of the boat. If you haven't seen alercae trees in Chile's Pumalin National Park, then this is your best bet. Very old alercae trees, with the grandfather tree (abuelo) being 2600 years old!"

"Beautiful nature!!"

"A wonderful experience. Let's take care of our nature, which is so beautiful!
We went in October. The weather is humid. We had some rain. The hike is the same. If you go and know it's going to be rainy, I recommend suitable footwear (you can wear regular sneakers, but your socks will be wet), a waterproof jacket, a bag to protect your backpack from the rain, and water (if you have one), a raincoat.
If you bring mate, don't litter the yerba mate in the park. Smoking is prohibited, so bring a bag for your waste. Sunscreen is not allowed.
The guide told us that in summer it's 35 degrees in that area, and I believe her because even though we had a cloudy and rainy day, when the sun is barely out, you'll get cooked. 😅"
