Reviews Summary

A vast, free nature reserve offering a welcome escape from the urban jungle, teeming with wildlife and scenic views of the city skyline. While the natural beauty is a major draw, some visitors note issues with the shoreline's condition and the presence of insects.

"What a beautiful place on the edge of the city. Free entry, two toilet blocks, lots of benches and seating around, I spent hours here! There are turtles, lizards and so many birds. Paths you can cycle or walk down, little walkways to explore and a slightly apocalyptic swamp full of wildlife."

"Shore was full of dead fish. Few tons I think, so the smell was appropriate. The water itself is yellow. I don't think I can recommend the shore for a visit."

"This is a really lovely park on the edge of the city. It seems to be really popular at weekends. I can see why, there is so much wildlife about, its teeming with birds of different kinds. I spent a few hours walking around the park, including down to the beach, which unfortunately, though popular, is not well kept. The footpaths however are and its easy to walk around the whole park. It’s great to see a nature sanctuary like this that people can enjoy. Well worth a visit."
