As we don't speak the language, this was purely a photo taking visit. Only a small section had English books, rest are Spanish I guess.

But if you’re on the hunt for rare or serious reads, you might leave empty-handed. And with the flood of tourists and Instagrammers swinging by just long enough to snap their obligatory photo, it wouldn’t be surprising if they started charging an entry fee—just like Livraria Lello in Porto.
Guilty as charged—I too came purely to satisfy my curiosity. I actually ventured down to the basement in search of vintage vinyl to purchase, but the staff, unimpressed by my lack of Spanish, were less than enthusiastic about helping. Empty-handed, I resurfaced, but not before treating myself to a refreshingly cold lemonade, a stellar espresso, and a deliciously moist piece of carrot cake at the café on the stage. From up there, the view was even more spectacular. The food? Solid. The service? Surprisingly decent. The overall experience? Not too shabby at all!"
