What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Green Island's untouched beauty, pristine beaches, and excellent snorkeling opportunities. It's praised as an idyllic escape with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. Some minor drawbacks include potential crowding from tour boats and the limited amenities on the island itself.
"Went here on a trip from the resort we were staying at. Paid $20 US for a 2 hour trip. Lovely white sand crystal clear sea. Beautiful scenery and lovely colourful fish"
Andy Alden
"Perfect, untouched little coastal island with a bustling reef - perfect for snorkelling and a drop of escapism. This idyllic little island is a must if you're visiting Antigua - tucked away somewhere around the south coast, it's perfectly untouched, uninhabited, rife with lush vegetation (thus the name) and surrounded by a shallow and vibrant reef. The lovely warm and still waters lend themselves perfectly to snorkelling, and it's easy to lose hours watching the sealife going about their day. It seems like there's a couple of boat tours bringing guests a couple of times a day, so easy enough to get there and well worth the money!"
Ross Berridge
"My partner kitesurfed with the school from Nonsuch Bay while I relaxed on the beach just over the hill. Truly a fantastic combo because it was howling over at the kitesurf beach and great conditions for them but amazingly calm just on the other side. There’s a few tour boats that turn up, one of which kicked me out of the picnic bench area but they don’t stay very long and the beach is quite long so easy to find your own spot to enjoy some quiet."
