What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the climb to Sant Vicenç d'Enclar Castle a significant adventure, with some paths being quite demanding and potentially hazardous, especially in wet conditions. While the historical chapel ruins and panoramic views are appreciated, recent scaffolding may affect the visual experience. The challenging terrain makes it unsuitable for those with limited fitness.
"First of all, the Chapel is surrounded by scaffolding and nets, as of January 2023, so don't go up there expecting something pretty. Secondly, the climb is somewhat difficult....don't expect a smooth path upwards and at some points you will have to pull yourself up back not the path. If a member of your group is not fit, don't attempt it. You would have thought the other 'reviwers' here would have bothered to mention it. If the path is damp from rain, don't attempt to go up the path under any circumstance, no matter how much of an orienteer you are. There are loose rocks, some of them big enough to pancake you if they slide loose."

"Great adventure! There are at least three paths leading to the site, one of which is quite demanding and may be dangerous in the rain. the remaining 2 are affordable."

"I went hoping to find a girlfriend and I found the ghost of the creator, nice but not going to get into trouble, he gave me a snack and welcomed me very well, the bad thing is the climb, because for heavy people it is not a good idea to send them up, we also have the construction that is a little worse than people from 1900 BC, I think it is a piece of junk and that you will waste your time climbing that piece of junk structure, at least I took a good stone from the year of the stone, thanks Andorra for this piece of junk"
