What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for car rentals in Saranda are highly polarized, with some travelers praising efficient and friendly service, while others report significant issues with vehicle condition and staff rudeness. While the city itself is generally well-regarded for its beaches and atmosphere, the car rental experience can be a point of contention.
"We had a pretty disappointing experience here. The car had low windscreen washer fluid when we picked it up and one of the back brake lights wasn’t working. Minor issues, and otherwise the car itself was fine. They let us keep it an extra day, which was appreciated.
However, the staff were super rude and unhelpful. From the moment we arrived it felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there.
When we dropped the car back, there were around 5 people smoking inside the shop who each gave us dirty looks upon arrival. One of them snapped at us and tried to tell us that we should have parked in a spot that was already taken by a motorbike (??).
On top of that, we weren’t told that we’d need the same card used for the deposit in order to get it back, so when we didn’t have it on us, we had to come back the next day. Frustrating, but fair enough. What didn’t make sense was that when we tried to pay for the extra day by card, we were suddenly told they only accepted cash. This was after they’d literally just asked for our card to return the deposit, with the card machine sitting right on the desk in front of us.
Overall, the car itself was okay, but the staff were rude, unprofessional, and made everything unnecessarily difficult. Not a place I’d recommend."

"This car, like the others was a nightmare, very dirty very noisy, a lot of dash lamps ...never again . The staf was very rude, loud and agressive, my doughter got so afraid"
Albano Mainaro
"I had a very good experience with this company, all went on very well, we rented a Fiat500 for €30 and returned it at the end of the same day, leaving a €300 refundable guarantee on the credit card (but they were flexible and also offered other options). Upon returning the car, this amount was cancelled and got back to my card 48h later. Brunilda was so nice to us and Ermir was very professional and efficient. I definitely recommend!"
