"It’s definitely nice Bridge, worth visiting, many people commenting it’s ancient bridge, it’s not that old, it was built in the second half of 18th century. Underneath there is flow of water and clear that you can see some fish. Easy to get there driving, google map took me to wrong side of the road as a result I ended up driving on a completely wrong road. Try to stick to main roads for a better driving experience"

"This view is amazing, I saw in other pictures that the water runs under the bridge however when I was there it was dry, I do not know if that changes depending on the season"

A Glimpse into History
Interestingly, the bridge stands in contrast to a newer, nearby bridge that is reportedly in a poorer state of repair. This juxtaposition highlights the enduring quality of Ottoman craftsmanship and offers a visual timeline of construction and maintenance over centuries. Walking across Mesi Bridge allows visitors to truly feel its history and appreciate the skill of its builders.
While not as ancient as some structures, its historical significance as a functional crossing point and a testament to Ottoman engineering in the region makes it a worthwhile stop for those interested in local history and architecture.
Seasonal Water Dynamics
However, visitors in drier months, such as August, might find the riverbed to be dry. This seasonal variation means the experience can differ depending on when you visit. While a dry riverbed might be less visually dramatic for some, it can also offer a unique perspective and allow for easier exploration of the riverbed itself.
It's advisable for visitors to be aware of these seasonal changes when planning their trip, especially if the flowing water is a key aspect they wish to see or photograph.
