Bogova Waterfall is a beautiful, refreshing natural spot perfect for a short getaway, praised for its pristine waters and easy access. While some find it less spectacular than other major waterfalls, its serene setting and the invigorating cold dip make it a highly recommended destination. Visitors appreciate the manageable hike and the untouched natural environment, though lack of facilities and potential crowds on weekends are noted drawbacks.
"The place is really nice...
There is a 30-minute walk (on the way there, we got a ride in a taxi jeep, but walked back). We were with 3 kids (ages 2,5,8), and they all really enjoyed it.
The water is cold, but the kids went in anyway. The place is clean but there is no reaturant ot toilet nearby."

"It’s a beautiful waterfall to see, don’t expect something very spectacular if you are traveling a lot (or used to seeing waterfalls often). But it’s still very beautiful to see, especially considering the fact that it just takes an easy walk (20-30 minutes hike at beginners level) to get there. We did it with a toddler (2 years and 2 months old) and a 9 months old baby in a carrier. It’s a small area, we experienced that if a group arrives it gets crowded very fast. But to be fair, there is enough space around to have a seat or lounge under the trees. We went in September at the end of the high season on a rainy day and there weren’t a lot of people, maybe a total of 3 cars and 8 people at the time we arrived and we didn’t had to pay anything."

"Bogovë Waterfall is a beautiful and refreshing spot, perfect for a short nature getaway. The water is crystal clear and icy cold, flowing through a shaded forest area that makes for a pleasant walk. You can actually reach the waterfall by jeep all the way, which is convenient if you’re not up for hiking. The last stretch of the trail is short and easy, with the sound of the water guiding you in. It’s a peaceful place to relax, take photos, or cool off in the summer. Only reason for 4 stars — it can get crowded on weekends, and some areas could use better signage. Still, highly recommended!"
