What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Alagadi Turtle Beach is praised for its natural beauty, calm waters on the western end, and the unique opportunity to witness sea turtle nesting. Visitors appreciate the two distinct bays, the scenic sunset views, and the reasonable prices at the Turtle Paradise restaurant. However, some find the sand irritating, note the lack of amenities like sunbeds, and express concern over nearby industrial development.
"Beautiful beach, much longer than it seemed from google maps. Western end is with more calm water (suitable for small children up to 6 yrs), middle part with much bigger waves where you can have a lot of fun with older children. In working days the beach is almost empty. Turtles are deep in sand during the day and entrance to the beach is not allowed after 20:00 due to turtles protection. So you need to be lucky to see one before 20:00 or early in the morning."

"Very nice views, the restaurant has reasonable prices and good, fresh food. The beach is with nice sand, and you can rent a beach umbrella. No beach beds."

"Decent wild beach, a lot of sea weed but clean. Very few people this time of year. Allegedly a turtle nesting beach which boggles the mind how they have constructed a diesel generated power station approximately a mile away down the coast. Only a total moron would allow this, obviously North Cyprus is not short of those."
